ADDVantage Digital Solutions Limited is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040.
We recognise our responsibility to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and to take a proactive approach to carbon management, energy efficiency, business travel, commuting, supplier engagement, and waste reduction.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline Year: 2024 (01/01/2024 – 31/12/2024)
The Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in compliance with PPN 06/21. Our Carbon Emissions in 2024 were measured in line with GHG Protocol and include the greenhouse gases stated in the Kyoto Protocol.
Reporting Year: 2025 (01/01/2025 – 31/12/2025)
The Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in compliance with PPN 06/21. Our Carbon Emissions are measured in line with the GHG Protocol and include the greenhouse gases stated in the Kyoto Protocol.

Reporting Period
ADDVantage Digital Solutions Limited will publish a Carbon Reduction Plan on a yearly basis detailing emissions released from UK operations from 1 January to 31 December.
This report should be updated annually to reflect the latest available emissions data, reduction activity, and progress against targets.
As 2024 was the first year in which emissions were measured, the baseline year and the current reporting year may contain the same values where no separate 2025 data has yet been finalised.
Scope 1
Scope 1 is reported as 0.00 tCO2e in 2025, as ADDVantage Digital Solutions Limited does not operate boilers, on-site manufacturing, a fleet, or f-gases requiring disclosure.
Scope 2
Within Scope 2, we have measured the emissions resulting from employees working in the office. We have calculated the emissions generated from the consumption of purchased electricity used for heating, lighting, and computer usage in our office premises.
Scope 3
Business Travel
The Business Travel subset in Scope 3 has been calculated at 4.29 tCO2e, considering factors such as distance travelled and modes of transport, including light rail and cars. This figure excludes commuting to and from work.
Employee Commuting
The emissions resulting from employee commuting have been calculated at 3.32 tCO2e, considering factors such as distance travelled, mode of transportation, vehicle type, and average fuel consumption.
Upstream and Downstream transportation and distribution
The emissions resulting from upstream transportation and distribution have been assessed and quantified at 0.30 tCO2e. This calculation considers transportation activities involved in sourcing materials, including distance travelled, modes of transportation, and fuel consumption.
Our figure for downstream transportation and distribution is currently reported as 0.00 tCO2e, as ADDVantage Digital Solutions Limited does not send goods as part of its service delivery.
Waste generated in operations
We have requested the CO2e released from our waste removal provider; however, they do not currently have this data available.
We have been advised that this is being developed and will be included in future reporting where possible. Our waste provider has stated that it currently operates a carbon neutral service.
In order to continue our progress towards achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
We project that carbon emissions will continue to decrease over time, supported by operational efficiency improvements, reduced travel emissions, and better supplier engagement.
We project that we will achieve Carbon Net Zero by 2040.
The organisation will review annual performance against its baseline and reduction actions to ensure that progress remains measurable and credible.
Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the baseline year.
• We are transitioning towards paperless operations, reducing the amount of waste produced in office-based activities.
• We are considering the introduction of a Cycle to Work scheme, providing greener transportation options for the daily commute.
• We are reviewing our current suppliers and products to ensure they understand our commitment to sustainability and share our environmental objectives.
• We are implementing an Energy Consumption Policy to minimise waste and reduce daily energy usage.
• We continue to encourage more efficient business travel, including the use of virtual meetings where appropriate and practical.
Future Carbon Reduction Matters
Further measures will be developed and implemented during 2025 and beyond to support long-term decarbonisation. These will include:
• Improving energy monitoring and reporting across office operations.
• Strengthening data collection for travel, commuting, and waste emissions.
• Increasing the proportion of low-carbon travel where business needs allow.
• Reviewing procurement activity to give greater consideration to sustainability criteria.
• Building annual review into management reporting so that progress against reduction actions is tracked consistently.
Responsibility for carbon reduction measures should sit with senior management and be reviewed at least annually.
The plan should be updated each year to reflect progress, revised targets, new actions, and any changes in emissions data or business activity.
Any significant changes to operations, office locations, suppliers, or travel patterns should be reflected in future reporting.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standards for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard, using the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors.
